One of the most important, pristine and beautiful tourist attractions and valuable habitats of migratory birds in Iran is the international wetland of Miankaleh, one of the functions of Behshahr city in Mazandaran province. In fact, it is a narrow peninsula that connects the Caspian Sea to the north, the Gorgan Bay to the south, the Zaghmarz Wetland to the west, and Ashurade Island to the east, eventually connecting to bandar Turkaman with a narrow strait of approximately one kilometer.  The reflection of wild bushes and raspberries in the water, at sunrise or sunset, overwhelmed by the song of birds,  provide an unparalleled view of life. Migratory birds, including small and large birds, such as flamingo, duck, kashim, chengar and kutka, etc. enter  for winter each year.
